Disney’s Frozen 3 now has a confirmed release date. The film will be released in theaters on November 24, 2027, by Walt Disney Pictures.
The third installment of the Frozen franchise was announced during the D23 Panel. It will be a sequel to Frozen 2 and the 66th animated feature in the Disney Animated Canon.
Kristen Bell will return to voice Anna, Idina Menzel as Elsa, Josh Gad as Olaf, and Jonathan Groff as Kristoff.
Filmmaker Jennifer Lee said, “There were a lot of questions coming out of Frozen 2… It will take two films to answer them.”
Jennifer then revealed the first concept art for Frozen 3: “It captures a scene with Anna and Elsa… Everyone at Disney Animation is excited to be back in this world.”
Disney also has several animated sequels in the works, including Zootopia 2, Toy Story 5, and Incredibles 3.
