Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures has revealed its upcoming theatrical release slate, featuring major titles such as Avengers: Doomsday, Avengers: Secret Wars, X-Men, Ghost Rider, Black Panther III, Incredibles 3, Avatar 4, and more through 2029.
Post-Avengers: Secret Wars, there are three movies releasing in 2028 and three untitled MCU movies slated for 2029.
Avengers: Secret Wars is expected to begin filming in August 2026 in the UK, while an untitled Special Presentation is rumored to film in February 2027. Ghost Rider is expected to film in 2027 across California, Nevada, and Oregon, while X-Men is rumored to begin filming in 2027 in the UK. Black Panther III is also expected to start filming in 2027, followed by three untitled Marvel films scheduled for 2029, which are expected to film in 2028.

While the three dates are currently placeholders, Murphy’s Multiverse reports that Marvel has several projects in development, including Ryan Reynolds’ X-Force, a sequel to The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Shang-Chi 2, and a Nova movie that Michael Waldron may write and direct. There has been no official update from Marvel yet.
