The filming for Denis Villeneuve‘s Dune: Part Three, starring Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, has wrapped in Budapest, Hungary, and has entered the post-production stage.

Following the wrap, an image shared by a crew member reveals a celebratory message thanking everyone who worked on the film — including the cast and crew. It reads:
“That’s a wrap!
DUNE
PART THREE
Thank you to all our amazing cast and crew.”
Filming began on July 8 and continued for over four months, finally wrapping on November 11, 2025. It is also reported that Dune: Prophecy Season 2 has begun filming, with the season set to feature eight episodes.
The film is written and directed by Denis Villeneuve, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jon Spaihts. Based on Frank Herbert’s 1969 novel Dune Messiah, it serves as the sequel to Dune: Part Two (2024) and marks the third and final installment in Villeneuve’s Dune film trilogy.
Dune: Part Three follows Paul Atreides, now Emperor Muad’Dib, as he navigates immense power while confronting political enemies and a growing conspiracy within his inner circle. As House Atreides teeters on the brink of collapse, new dangers emerge for Paul’s lover, Chani, and their unborn heir.
