Meghann Fahy and Elizabeth Olsen had conversations during Variety’s Actors on Actors. Olsen, who played Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch, in the MCU, revealed her happiness with the journey and achievements they have made together, mainly highlighting the tremendous success of “WandaVision.”
During the interview, Fahy asked Olsen, “Do you miss doing Wanda?” Olsen replied, “No, I don’t. I think it’s been almost 10 years of playing her. And I’ve loved it. And I think the reason why I am not calling Kevin Feige every day with ideas is because I’m really proud of what we were able to do. I think “WandaVision” was a really surprising opportunity.“
Elizabeth Olsen Is Proud of Her Marvel Movies
Even if faced with the news of being fired from Marvel movies, she remains proud of their collaborative work. She said, “If someone were to tell me that I’m fired from Marvel movies, I will feel proud of what we made. And I really am just trying to figure out how to load up other films and characters so it becomes less about the Marvel of it all.“
Olsen recently starred in HBO Max’s “Love & Death” series. She plays the role of Candy Montgomery, which is based on a real housewife in late-1970s Texas. The series is now available on Max. Read our review.
