Fandango released a new clip from Evil Dead Rise. The film will arrive in theaters on April 21, 2023, and tickets can be purchased from Fandango.
In the clip, the mother (Alyssa Sutherland) started cooking for her children, and suddenly they watched her turn into evil. The clip itself is as horrifying as running away. Watch the clip below.
Evil Dead Rise is the fifth installment of the Evil Dead franchise. The film is directed by Lee Cronin and stars Lily Sullivan, Alyssa Sutherland, Morgan Davies, Gabrielle Echols, and Nell Fisher.
Evil Dead Rise synopsis follows:
After a long journey on the road, Beth visits her older sister, Ellie, who is struggling to raise three children alone in a small Los Angeles apartment. However, their reunion is interrupted when they find a strange book hidden in the depths of Ellie’s building, which unleashes horrid flesh-possessing demons.
Will Bruce Campbell Appear In Evil Dead Rise?
Speaking to Empire Magazine, director Lee Cronin revealed that Bruce Campbell’s presence is somewhere in the film. Cronin said, “It felt like in order to move the franchise somewhere new and to unlock the potential of the universe to tell more stories, it needed to break free of Campbell’s Ash Williams.” Cronin added, “But Bruce is hidden in the movie somewhere. Bruce has a small presence in the movie. The first person to figure it out and send me a tweet, I’ll give them 50 bucks.”
Evil Dead Rise is coming to theaters on April 21, 2023.
