Is Evil Dead Rise The Best in the Evil Dead Franchise Ever?

Evil Dead Rise is the latest installment in the Evil Dead franchise, and it delivers one of the best horror experiences ever. When you are watching the film, make sure you hold someone’s hands, because the devil’s going to make you run across the street. The film has a 96% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, which is outstanding.

Lee Cronin, who wrote the script and directed the film, clearly understands how to offer the audience a true horror experience. There is a lot of blood and sounds that are nearly violently attacking the senses. However, it works effectively for even the most ardent horror fans.

The film opens with Beth (Lily Sullivan), who visits her older sister Ellie (Alyssa Sutherland) after a long journey on the road. Ellie is living alone in a cramped Los Angeles apartment with her three children. During their reunion, they find a mysterious book deep in the bowels of Ellie’s building, and when Ellie opens the book, it will release the flesh-possessing demons. Evil enters Ellie’s body, and she turns into deadly evil. Beth and Ellie’s kids were trapped in the most nightmarish version of motherhood imaginable. Will they survive the evil? That is the main plot of the film.

You can see that in conjuring films the devils appear for a second and disappear. But here you see the full activities of evil. As I expected, the film gave me a terrifying and wickedly funny experience. I hope the studio will consider making more sequels. Watch the film in theaters itself for the best-ever horror experience.
