Ewan McGregor Is Next To Star In An Prime Video Series
Ewan McGregor has joined the cast of Prime Video’s ‘Lodi‘ series. The drama series is set in 1977, where a car salesman, Lou (McGregor), goes from ordinary small-town citizen to FBI informant infiltrating the mafia when a key member of organized crime offers to buy his Cadillac dealership.
As per Variety, the series is currently in development at Amazon Prime Video. The showrunner and executive producer is Timothy Greenberg. McGregor will executive produce as well as appear in the series. Brillstein Creative Partners’ Allie Goss and Jon Liebman will executive produce, with Brillstein’s Kaleb Tuttle co-executive producing. With Amazon Studios, Entertainment One (eOne) is the principal studio.

In 1977, a car salesman, Lou (McGregor), goes from ordinary small-town citizen to FBI informant infiltrating the mafia when a key member of organized crime offers to buy his Cadillac dealership. Over the next three years, Lou finds his quest for glory tested when he becomes embroiled in the inner workings of the crime family – from fronting a multimillion-dollar operation to becoming a surrogate son– before procuring the first-ever conviction of an infamous crime boss.
Most recently, McGregor reprised the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in a Disney+ limited series based around the iconic “Star Wars” character. He is currently filming ‘A Gentleman in Moscow,’ a Showtime/Paramount+ series based on Amor Towles’ novel of the same name. He will both star in and produce that series.
