Exclusive: Chris Evans is Reprising His Marvel Role in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’

Exclusive: Chris Evans is back in an MCU film. Yeah! Fans, hear me and rejoice—Evans appears in Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine movie, but not as Captain America. Instead, he reprises his role as Johnny Storm, a.k.a. Human Torch, from the Fantastic Four.

Does Chris Evans Appear in Deadpool & Wolverine?

Evans’ Johnny Storm, in his F4 suit, is seen trapped by Cassandra Nova alongside Ryan Reynolds‘ Deadpool and Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine in the post-credits scene of Deadpool & Wolverine. Also, scooper MyTimeToShineHello confirmed on X (Twitter) that Evans has officially signed on for Avengers: Secret Wars.

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is directed by Shawn Levy, the film stars Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, alongside Jackman as Wolverine, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, Stefan Kapičić as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Rob Delaney as Peter, Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, and new additions Corrin, Tyler Mane as Sabretooth, and Matthew Macfadyen. ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ tickets are now on sale at Fandango, AMC, IMAX, and Cinemark. The film will be released on IMAX, RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, Cinemark XD, and premium screens worldwide on July 26, 2024.
