Marvel’s ‘Captain America: Brave New World‘ has officially wrapped its reshoots, which took place in Atlanta. The update came from Colin MacDonnell, who congratulated long-time film assistant director Michele Panelli-Venetis on her incredible career — spanning from 1993’s ‘Jurassic Park’ to 2025’s ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ — in an Instagram post. Following the negative test screening report of ‘Brave New World,’ Marvel hired Matthew Orton to rewrite the script. Additionally, some scenes were removed, and additional sequences were filmed. Giancarlo Esposito has been newly added to the cast; however, his character’s role remains unknown.
According to reports, attendees at the 2024 San Diego Comic-Con will get a first look at footage from Marvel Studios’ ‘Brave New World,’ which will take place from July 25-28.
Recently, a teaser trailer was screened at the 2024 CineEurope Disney presentation, featuring a scene between Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford.
Julius Onah directs from a screenplay by Malcolm Spellman, Dalan Musson, and Orton. The film stars Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Danny Ramirez as Joaquín Torres/Falcon, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Ford as President Thaddeus Ross, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph/Sabra, Esposito, Rosa Salazar, and Xosha Roquemore.
Matthew Schmidt will serve as an editor on ‘Brave New World.’ The Russo Brothers will serve as producers on the film alongside Kevin Feige, Nate Moore, and Malcolm Spellman.
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ will arrive in theaters on February 14, 2025.
