Marvel’s ‘Wonder Man‘ series is now in production in Los Angeles.

Recently, Twitter (X) user @douglaszaldaaa shared multiple images of a set being constructed for the ‘Wonder Man’ show outside the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, Los Angeles, California.

The images include a cutout silhouette of Wonder Man, also known as Simon Williams, featuring a glowing ‘W’ on the cutout’s chest.

According to reports, the MCU’s ‘Wonder Man’ show will stay true to the comic’s accuracy.

Exclusive Leak: Marvel's 'Wonder Man' Set Images and Footage Revealed

In the show, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II plays the role of Wonder Man, an actor with superpowers; Ben Kingsley plays Trevor Slattery, a failed actor serving Xu Wenwu; Demetrius Grosse plays Eric Williams/Grim Reaper, Simon’s brother; Ed Harris portrays Neal Saroyan, Simon’s agent; and Lauren Glazier is also part of the cast.

The show, created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest for Disney+. It’s part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) TV series produced by Marvel Studios, sharing continuity with the film franchise. Guest also serves as the showrunner.

‘Wonder Man’ is created by Stan Lee and artists Don Heck and Jack Kirby. The character debuted in Marvel Comics in 1964 with The Avengers #9. Wonder Man, also known as Simon Williams, is the son of businessman Sanford Williams, who takes over management of his father’s munitions company after his father’s death, seeing its success restricted when it competes with Tony Stark’s Stark Industries. While working for the evil Baron Zemo and establishing himself as an antagonist to The Avengers, the younger Williams obtains ion-based superpowers, including super strength; however, he subsequently decides to join that heroic team.

‘Wonder Man’ will consist of a 10-episode series under the “Marvel Spotlight” banner, with Stella Meghie and James Ponsoldt set to direct.

Release Date:

‘Wonder Man’ will be available for streaming exclusively on Disney+, with its premiere scheduled for 2025.
