Exclusive: The first trailer for Marvel’s ‘Echo‘ series is coming soon, possibly next week. Marvel recently updated the ‘Echo’ logo, and it’s now online. See the image below.
Originally, ‘Echo’ was supposed to arrive on Disney+ on November 29, 2023. However, it’s now nearly certain that the show’s premiere will be in January 2024.
The Echo series mainly focuses on Maya’s life, her family, and her history. Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will have a cameo appearance, and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk has a big role. Disney+ confirmed that Echo follows the events of Hawkeye (2021) in New York City, Maya Lopez returns to her hometown, where she must come to terms with her past, reconnect with her Native American roots, and embrace her family and community. The first episode will be directed by Sydney Freeland and the rest will be directed by Catriona McKenzie. Marion Dayre serves as the head writer.
Alaqua Cox reprises her role as Maya Lopez a.k.a. Echo: A deaf Native American and the commander of the Tracksuit Mafia who can perfectly copy another person’s movements, Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning, and Graham Greene.
Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Stephen Broussard, Richie Palmer, along with Dayre and Jason Gavin, are the executive producers, while Freeland serves as a co-executive producer. The series is also produced by 20th Television.
‘Echo’ will premiere on Disney+ in January 2024.
