Recently, Robert Pattinson said The Batman: Part II features a “quite radical change” to the script.
He said, “It’s a quite radical change to the script, and it’s cool that Warners are behind it & DC. It’s just crazy. I think Matt Reeves is the only person who anyone would allow to do it because it’s, like, a really radical retelling of Batman.”
Pattinson told GQ in a recent interview that while filming The Batman: Part II, “I’m definitely feeling my age when fighting a lot. I’m literally like, ‘Goddamn, this is significantly harder than it used to be.’ I think the movie’s going to be pretty great.”
In a recent interview with Variety, Sebastian Stan said working on The Batman: Part II feels like making “f*cking The Godfather Part II”:
“I go to set, look around and I think we’re making f*cking The Godfather Part II. I really don’t want to raise it up, but I do feel like it’s going to be a payoff.”
In the film, Pattinson returns as Bruce Wayne/Batman, alongside Brian Tyree Henry as Harvey Dent, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Wright as Jim Gordon, Jayme Lawson as Mayor Bella Reál, and Gil Perez-Abraham as Officer Martinez. The new cast includes Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Charles Dance, and Sebastian Koch in undisclosed roles.
The Batman: Part II will hit theaters on February 18, 2028, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
