The first look at ‘What If…?‘ Season 3 has been revealed in an exclusive clip shared by Sammon News on Twitter.
The clip showcases Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier, Bill Foster, Ranger Morales, and Alexei/Red Guardian‘s appearance from Black Widow being chased in the ’80s. The episode is titled “What If… Red Guardian Stopped The Winter Soldier?” Watch the clip below.
“What If…Red Guardian Stopped The Winter Soldier?” was initially planned for Season 2 but has been moved to Season 3 by Marvel.
What If…? is based on the Multiverse Saga, in which the heroes appear from various universes. The first season ended with episode 9, “What If… The Watcher Broke His Oath?” The Watcher formed the “Guardians of the Multiverse” heroes, featuring Captain Carter, Star-Lord T’Challa, Strange Supreme, Killmonger, Party Thor, and Black Widow. The team battles the Age of Ultron to save the multiverse. The show was created by A. C. Bradley for Disney+.
The last episode of ‘What If…?’ Season 2 premiered on December 30, 2023. Marvel has already provided a sneak peek at Season 3, scheduled to debut on Disney+ in 2024.
