The first look at Dafne Keen in Corin Hardy‘s upcoming horror film Whistle has been revealed.
According to Deadline, Independent Film Company and Shudder have acquired U.S. rights to Hardy’s Whistle, while Black Bear is handling international sales.

Directed by Hardy, from a screenplay by Owen Egerton adapted from his own short story.
What is the Plot of Whistle?
Whistle follows a group of high school misfits who inadvertently come across an ancient Aztec death whistle. When blown, the whistle summons their future deaths — who begin hunting them down one by one. As the body count increases, they investigate the artifact’s history — hoping to halt the deadly chain of events they’ve set into motion.
The film stars Keen (Logan), Sophie Nélisse (Yellowjackets), Sky Yang (Rebel Moon), Percy Hynes White (My Old Ass), and Nick Frost (How to Train Your Dragon).
In a statement, Hardy said, “Whistle is made with the same heart-on-sleeve, disenfranchised-teen spirit found in my favorite genre movies that I grew up watching.” Hardy added, “I was drawn to the mysterious mythology surrounding the ‘Death Whistle’ and how it presented me with the opportunity to create a variety of cinematic, imaginative, and terrifying deaths. This film is built for the big-screen experience, so I can’t wait for audiences to blow the Whistle with Independent Film Company and Shudder in cinemas!”
Adam Koehler, who serves as Director of Acquisitions and Productions for Independent Film Company, Shudder, and RLJE Films, said, “Corin Hardy is a master of his craft, and we’re overjoyed to be bringing this horrifying vision to audiences across the country. With Whistle, he’s created a vicious and bloody treat that will stand tall among the best and scariest horror films in recent box office history.”
The film is produced by David Gross and Jesse Shapira for No Trace Camping, and Macdara Kelleher for Wild Atlantic Pictures.
The release date for Whistle has not yet been announced.
