Warning: This post contains spoilers for James Gunn’s Man of Tomorrow.
The first look at David Corenswet as Superman on the set of Gunn’s Man of Tomorrow has leaked online while filming in Atlanta, Georgia.
In the film, Corenswet’s Superman suit, seen on the Man of Tomorrow set, is reportedly the same version featured previously, but with minor tweaks. For instance, the cape is said to be “definitely longer.”

Also, Corenswet’s Superman suit has received several upgrades for Man of Tomorrow, including a larger “S” emblem, a round belt buckle, a lower collar inspired by the New 52 design, and a much tighter, more form-fitting appearance.

The footage below shows Superman saving people from a falling object. At the moment, the object appears as a blue-screen placeholder and will be digitally replaced during visual effects production.

In Man of Tomorrow, Superman and Lex Luthor are set to team up as they face a new villain: Brainiac (Lars Eidinger).
Recently, James Gunn shared the first look at Nicholas Hoult‘s Lex Luthor in his green-and-purple Warsuit. He said, “The suit is 100% practical,” adding that Nicholas Hoult can move incredibly well in it.
Gunn is writing, directing, and producing the film, with Peter Safran serving as a producer for DC Studios. The movie is a sequel to Superman, follows Peacemaker Season 2, and will be the fourth DC Universe film in Chapter One: Gods and Monsters.
The cast of Man of Tomorrow includes David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent (Kal-El), Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern (Guy Gardner), Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, Lars Eidinger as Brainiac, Aaron Pierre as Green Lantern (John Stewart), and Adria Arjona in a rumored role as either Maxima or Wonder Woman.
Man of Tomorrow will arrive in theaters on July 9, 2027.
