After nearly a decade in development, the first look at George Miller‘s ‘Furiosa‘ will be revealed at Brazil’s CCXP on November 30, 2023.
Warner Bros. Pictures is set to bring the cast of ‘Furiosa,’ including Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth, to panels at CCXP. Additionally, the casts of ‘Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire,’ ‘Dune: Part Two,’ and ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom‘ are also reported to be featured in panels at the event.
Directed by Miller and co-written with Nico Lathouris, ‘Furiosa’ is a spin-off and prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road. Taylor-Joy stars as Imperator Furiosa, alongside Hemsworth as Dementus, and supporting roles are played by Tom Burke, Nathan Jones, Angus Sampson, and Quaden Bayles.
What is the Plot of ‘Furiosa’?
According to Warner Bros. Pictures, ‘Furiosa’ follows: “As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.”
‘Furiosa’ will hit theaters on May 24, 2024, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
