The first look at ‘Lisa Frankenstein,’ starring Kathryn Newton, has been revealed. The film will hit theaters on February 9, 2024, by Focus Features.
The film, written by Diablo Cody and marking Zelda Williams’ debut as a feature-length director, features a cast that includes Newton as Lisa, along with Cole Sprouse, Carla Gugino, Liza Soberano, Joe Chrest, and Henry Eikenberry. In 1989, during a lightning storm, an unpopular high school girl named Lisa accidentally re-animates a handsome Victorian corpse. She then tries transforming him into the man of her dreams by using a broken tanning bed in her garage.
A coming of RAGE love story from acclaimed writer Diablo Cody (Jennifer’s Body) about a misunderstood teenager and her high school crush, who happens to be a handsome corpse.
