The first look at Shadow the Hedgehog, voiced by Keanu Reeves from ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3,’ has been leaked on Jakks Pacific merchandise, which has a global agreement with SEGA. We also got the designs of Sonic, Knuckles, Drone, and Buzz Bomber. You can see the images below.
Who is Shadow the Hedgehog?
Shadow the Hedgehog is an anthropomorphic red-striped black hedgehog resulting from a secret government program called Project Shadow.
The first trailer of the film is expected to be released this month. Filming began in November 2023 and concluded in March 2024. Directed by Jeff Fowler, with a screenplay by Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington, the movie is based on the Sega video game series.
The film stars Ben Schwartz as Sonic the Hedgehog, Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Miles “Tails” Prower, Reeves as Shadow the Hedgehog, and Idris Elba as Knuckles the Echidna. The live-action cast includes James Marsden as Tom Wachowski, Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, Krysten Ritter as Captain Rockwell, Tika Sumpter as Maddie Wachowski, Tom Butler as Commander Walters, Lee Majdoub as Agent Stone, Alyla Browne as Maria, James Wolk, Sofia Pernas, Cristo Fernández, and Jorma Taccone.
The film is produced by Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, Toru Nakahara, and Hitoshi Okuno. It is a production of Sega Sammy Group, Original Film, Marza Animation Planet, and Blur Studio.
