The official new logo for Jon Bernthal‘s Punisher and Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man has been revealed ahead of the release of the upcoming Punisher special and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

In recently leaked plot details shared by insider MAJESTIC, it is reported that Spider-Man is experiencing a crisis with his powers, similar to Tobey Maguire’s, with malfunctions linked to his emotional state. Meanwhile, Punisher is protecting Jean Grey from Damage Control, which continues to pursue her in New York.
A Daily Bugle montage references Daredevil and features villains like Ramrod, Boomerang, and Tarantula. Peter works at a deli and avoids getting close to MJ and Ned, who are rebuilding their lives.
Tombstone, along with The Hand, uses Jean to free Scorpion and eliminate Spider-Man and Punisher. Faced with this crisis, Spider-Man asks for help from Bruce Banner, his former university professor, but Jean’s powers end up transforming Banner into the Grey Hulk.
The main villains are Tombstone and Scorpion, with Bruce Banner serving as a secondary antagonist.
Yelena has a cameo in the film, attempting to recruit Punisher. Damage Control is a government agency that illegally captures people with superhuman abilities and is linked to someone in the shadows who experiments on them.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Jones III has been confirmed to play the role of Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.

After the world has forgotten his name, Peter Parker (Holland) begins a new chapter in his life — balancing college classes, part-time work, and his responsibility as New York’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. But when a mysterious force begins to unravel the city from the inside out, Peter finds himself caught between powerful enemies, old legacies, and unexpected allies. As shadows from the past creep into his present, he must redefine what it truly means to be a hero — on his own.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
