Jenna Ortega and Winona Ryder were spotted on the set of Tim Burton‘s ‘Beetlejuice 2‘ in Hertfordshire, England. The film is a sequel to the 1988 movie ‘Beetlejuice‘ based on Seth Grahame-Smith’s story. See the images below.
The film features Michael Keaton as Betelgeuse (pronounced as Beetlejuice), Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz, Catherine O’Hara as Delia Deetz, Jenna Ortega as Lydia Deetz’s daughter, Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci as Betelgeuse’s wife, and Willem Dafoe.
At Empire’s VIP event earlier this month, Michael Keaton expressed his excitement about reprising his role as the mischievous “bio-exorcist” in ‘Beetlejuice 2’. He enthusiastically stated, “Beetlejuice is the most fun you can have working. It’s so great, so much fun. And you know what? We’re approaching it exactly like we did the first movie.”
He went on to reveal that he and Tim Burton had been discussing the project for years without disclosing it to anyone. “We’ve both mentioned it multiple times. We both agreed that if it happens, it has to be done in a similar manner to the first film,” Keaton explained. He emphasized the importance of spontaneity, improvisation, and handcrafted elements in the creative process, stating, “Making stuff up, making stuff happen, improvising and riffing, but literally handmade stuff like people creating things with their hands and building something.”
