The filming for Martin Scorsese’s What Happens at Night, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, has begun in the Czech Republic, as the first set images have been revealed.
Most recently, DiCaprio and Lawrence were spotted on the set of What Happens at Night while filming at a location outside Prague, where additional scenes are being shot. The film will feature international settings and large-scale location work.

The images shared by Blesk show DiCaprio transformed with a short, dark hairstyle and a thick mustache, also appearing to have a prosthetic belly and a double chin, while Lawrence has a short dark bob haircut and is wearing a beige turtleneck sweater and a dark knee-length skirt. DiCaprio plays a middle-aged American man traveling through a mysterious European city with his wife, Isabel (Lawrence).

Directed by Martin Scorsese, the film is based on the novel What Happens at Night by Peter Cameron, with a screenplay written by Patrick Marber. Filming is set to continue in Prague, with production expected to wrap in New York City in early summer.
The film follows a married American couple who travel to a small, snowy European town to adopt a baby. They check into a cavernous, largely deserted hotel, where they encounter an enigmatic cast of characters, including a flamboyant chanteuse, a depraved businessman, and a charismatic faith healer. Nothing is quite as it seems in this strange, frozen world. As the couple struggle to claim their baby, they begin to know less about themselves and the life they’ve built together.
The film stars DiCaprio, Lawrence, Mads Mikkelsen as Brother Emmanuel, Patricia Clarkson, and Jared Harris.
What Happens at Night will hit theaters in early 2027, by Apple Original Films.
