The first look at Michael Mando as Mac Gargan, a.k.a. Scorpion, in Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been leaked online.
In the promotional Spider-Man: Brand New Day image, Mando’s Scorpion suit is a blend of the design from Marvel’s Spider-Man game and his classic comic-book costume.


Mando’s Scorpion was last teased in the post-credit scene of 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. Now, it’s official that he is returning in the new Spider-Man movie. During the production of Brand New Day, some set images leaked showing Scorpion escaping from prison.
Below, you can get a better look at the Hulk, Boomerang, Scorpion, and Tarantula from Spider-Man: Brand New Day, shared by Piticas, which is producing official merchandise for the film.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. It stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds, and Tony Revolori as Eugene “Flash” Thompson.
Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Marvin Jones III as Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
Here’s the new synopsis for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
After the world has forgotten his name, Peter Parker (Holland) begins a new chapter in his life — balancing college classes, part-time work, and his responsibility as New York’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. But when a mysterious force begins to unravel the city from the inside out, Peter finds himself caught between powerful enemies, old legacies, and unexpected allies. As shadows from the past creep into his present, he must redefine what it truly means to be a hero — on his own.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
The UK premiere for Spider-Man: Brand New Day will take place in London on July 24, 2026. The film is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
