It’s another big leak for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday. The first promotional images of Doctor Doom‘s masked sidekick from Doomsday have leaked online.
A few sets of images were leaked on X (formerly Twitter), featuring Latverian wizards and witches. It is now confirmed that Doctor Strange will appear as one of Doctor Doom’s sidekicks in Avengers: Doomsday. Doctor Strange will appear in a new suit, and he will be the assistant of Doctor Doom, named Boris. Below, you can see the images of Doctor Strange (Boris). In the image, the character appears to have a third eye on his forehead, similar to Doctor Strange.
A scooper on X, Blue Minutes, wrote: “At the end of Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, he and Clea went to a place where they met Doom, giving the belief that he is the only one who can save the multiverse, as he’s the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth-828.”
There is a rumor we previously reported that, in Doomsday, Doctor Strange becomes convinced that the Avengers are incapable of stopping the multiversal collapse. Doctor Doom offers him a plan and total control over magic, and Strange becomes his right-hand man. He serves as the executor of Doom’s plan, manipulating incursions and controlling the TVA. Strange also prioritizes the “survival of the multiverse” over local heroes. Strange’s alliance with Doom explains why they don’t help the Avengers: they believe Doom’s plan is the only way to save the multiverse from incursions.
The Latverian Witches were already spotlighted during this year’s SDCC Marvel booth, with three of them appearing in the movie. The new leaked images show their costumes. See them below.
