The filming of The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth, the sequel to the movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, has begun in Los Angeles.
Following the beginning of filming, Brad Pitt was spotted on the set of The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth as Cliff Booth at the Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles. See the images below.

In the images, Brad is wearing a blonde wig and a vintage-style yellow Hawaiian shirt over a white graphic T-shirt, paired with light blue jeans. His hair is styled in a 1970s-inspired cut, and he has a mustache for the character’s look.

During the promotional tour of F1: The Movie (via Deadline), Brad said that The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth would be an “episode” rather than a direct sequel. He said, “This is something Quentin Tarantino wrote.” He added, “It’s an episode, not really a sequel, of the character from Once Upon a Time. He didn’t want to direct it at this point, so our friend David Fincher stepped in.”

The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth will be directed by David Fincher for Netflix and follows Brad Pitt’s Cliff Booth as he navigates Hollywood as a “studio fixer.” The film is set eight years after Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, with filming scheduled to continue through mid-January 2026.
Here are the plot details for The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth:
Set in the late 1970s, the film follows Cliff Booth, a former stuntman turned Hollywood studio fixer. Operating in the shadows, Booth handles the industry’s darkest secrets — from scandals to blackmail — showcasing a grittier side of Hollywood’s golden era.
The cast of The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth includes Pitt as Cliff Booth, Carla Gugino, Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Corey Fogelmanis, and JB Tadena.
The sequel, being produced under Fincher’s first-look deal with Netflix, marks a shift from the original’s theatrical release (via Sony Pictures) to streaming. Tarantino has penned the script, which was bought by Netflix for $20 million.
According to World of Reel, multiple locations have been converted as filming gets underway, including a shop in Highland Park that has been renamed Zenith Parts and Accessories.
Speaking on The Big Picture podcast, Sean Fennessey — a friend of Quentin Tarantino — said he asked his sources and confirmed that “it seems like this movie is actually happening.”
Fennessey said, “The only other important information I’ve learned, which I believe is confirmed, is that the movie takes place in 1977, which is roughly eight years after Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood — so it’s a different time in Cliff’s life.”
Produced by Tarantino, Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner.
The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth is scheduled to be released in 2026 on Netflix.
