The first trailer for James Cameron‘s Avatar: Fire and Ash has leaked online ahead of its official release.
The leaked trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash has a duration of 2 minutes and 26 seconds and is described as “visually stunning, dark, and epic.” The trailer will reportedly play in front of Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps. An official release from Disney may now arrive sooner than expected.
On X, a user has shared a short glimpse of the trailer, which you can watch below.
The trailer reveals a new secret about Pandora and shows Jake warning his wife, Neytiri, that she cannot live in “hate.” It appears that he eventually surrenders or is captured by the RDA, as we see him being marched before a group of humans in a moment that may precede his return to Earth. The villainous Ash People are also featured in the trailer, with a battle depicted between their leader, Varang, and Neytiri. The Ash Clan is portrayed as a reflection of the darkest side of the Na’vi, filled with anger and rage after their civilization was destroyed by a volcanic eruption.
Moreover, the trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash hints at a major spoiler — Jake is sent back to Earth.

In the Avatar: Fire and Ash, Jake Sully’s story will take him and Neytiri’s family into uncharted territory and introduce a new Na’vi group, the Ash Clan. They have a darker, more complex relationship with Pandora, shaped by hardship and survival.
Directed by Cameron from a screenplay he co-wrote with Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, it is the sequel to Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) and the third installment in the Avatar film series.
