What is the Plot of ‘Furiosa’?
As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
This new standalone action adventure, produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures, explores the origins of the powerful character from the Oscar-winning global hit ‘Mad Max: Fury Road.’
Directed by George Miller from a script he co-wrote with Nico Lathouris, his co-writer from ‘Mad Max: Fury Road.’ The film also stars Tom Burke, Nathan Jones, Angus Sampson, and Quaden Bayles.
The film is produced by George Miller and Doug Mitchell under their Australian-based Kennedy Miller Mitchell banner.
Presented by Warner Bros. Pictures in association with Village Roadshow Pictures and produced by Kennedy Miller Mitchell. It will hit theaters worldwide on May 24, 2024 (May 22, 2024, internationally).
