Angel Confirms Opening Scene of ‘Blue Beetle (2011)’ Movie Involves Green Lantern’s Attack on Scarab
In an interview with Collider, Angel confirmed that in the opening sequence of the film, the Scarab was attacked/hit by a Green Lantern. This happened in the “Blue Beetle (2011)” comic series, and he also mentioned the film’s intro sequence was drawing inspiration from the comic.
James Gunn’s DC universe starts with ‘Blue Beetle’, and a Green Lantern reference hints at possible appearances in future projects or a solo film.
‘Blue Beetle’ is fantastic, with impressive visuals, lively Latino music, thrilling action, and humorous moments. Every scene is well-executed, particularly the Blue Beetle suit transformation.
