After long production delays, ‘Euphoria‘ Season 3 is finally scheduled to begin production next year.
On X (Twitter), the official Euphoria handle confirmed that Season 3 is officially set to begin production in January 2025. HBO has also confirmed that all principal cast members — including Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, and Hunter Schafer — are set to return.
In a statement, Francesca Orsi, executive VP of HBO programming and head of HBO drama series and films, said, “I am thrilled that we are ready to begin production on Euphoria in January.” Orsi added, “We could not be happier with our creative partnership with Sam and this incredible cast. We look forward to bringing this new season of Euphoria to life for the fans.”
As of now, HBO hasn’t revealed any release date, but we can expect it in early 2026. Back in April 2023, one of the show’s costume designers, Heidi Bivens, mentioned that Season 3 may feature a 5-year time jump — “There is talk of it being approximately five years in the future, and that they’re not in high school anymore.”
The Sam Levinson-created show follows a group of high school students as they navigate the trials and tribulations of adolescence, including drug use, sex, and identity issues. The show has earned nine Emmy Awards for its first two seasons, including two for Zendaya, making her the youngest two-time Emmy winner, and one for Colman Domingo.
Most recently, Nika King said that her hope for ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 production is to begin soon, as she needs it to cover her six-month rent.
According to reports, Zendaya’s deal For Euphoria has been recently renegotiated.
‘Euphoria’ Seasons 1 and 2 are now available on Max.
