The list of 2025’s highest-paid Hollywood actors has been revealed by Forbes.
It is reported that the total earnings of the 20 highest-paid actors dropped to $590 million, which is down 20% from the previous year. This year, Adam Sandler was the highest-paid actor at $48 million.
According to the report, Hollywood is worried that movie stars are becoming less powerful because of changes like AI, fewer people going to theaters, and competition from musicians, athletes, and influencers who now earn more money.
Here are the Highest-Paid Actors of 2025 with their reported earnings:
- Adam Sandler — $48M ($60M gross)
- Tom Cruise — $46M ($54M gross)
- Mark Wahlberg — $44M ($58M gross)
- Scarlett Johansson — $43M ($50M gross)

Big actors no longer guarantee box office success, and in 2025 the total earnings of the top actors dropped, though studios still pay huge salaries to stars like Scarlett Johansson, Brad Pitt, and Leonardo DiCaprio because they can still attract audiences even if films don’t always perform well.
