Hush is rumored to be the villain in ‘The Batman: Part II.’ He’s one of the most fascinating Batman villains, alongside Hugo Strange, due to how dangerous he is to both Batman and Bruce Wayne.
Who is Hush in DC Comics?
Hush is a villain in DC Comics who was once friends with Batman but later became a bad guy. He’s known for being really smart and using his medical skills to cause trouble for Batman. He often wears bandages to hide his face.
Jeff Sneider mentioned on the Hot Mic podcast that there are rumors about Hush being the main villain in ‘The Batman: Part II,’ but he stressed it’s just speculation. See the podcast on YouTube below.
Back in 2022, ‘The Batman’ director Matt Reeves mentioned considering Hush as a potential villain for a sequel, but nothing was confirmed. He said, “There are so many, and, I dunno… I think Hush is a really interesting one to do. I’ll say, Hush. But that doesn’t mean that the next one will be Hush!”
‘The Batman: Part II’ is a continuation of the Batman story created by Matt Reeves, which is now officially recognized as an “epic crime saga” within The Batverse. Directed by Reeves and co-written by him and Mattson Tomlin, the film stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin. We already reported that Greig Fraser would return as cinematographer for the sequel. Read more details about the film.
Filming for ‘The Batman: Part II’ starts in March 2024, with a scheduled release date of October 2, 2026.
