Dominique Thorne confirms Marvel’s ‘Ironheart‘ series wrapped filming. The show is set to release on Disney+ on September 3, 2025.
What is the Status of the ‘Ironheart’ Series?
During a Sundance red carpet interview with Deadline Hollywood, Thorne says that filming for ‘Ironheart’ has concluded, describing it as an epic journey she’s excited to share.
Thorne said, “(Ironheart) filming has concluded, indeed.” Thorne added, “I mean, I can say, strap in, get ready. It will be a ride, much like they all are. It is an epic journey, and one that I’m very excited to share.”
The show, created by Chinaka Hodge for Disney+. In the series, Thorne will play the role of Riri Williams/Ironheart. It also stars Anthony Ramos as Parker Robbins/The Hood (See set images), Sacha Baron Cohen as Mephisto, Jim Rash as the Dean of MIT, Lyric Ross as Williams’s best friend, Manny Montana, Alden Ehrenreich, Shea Couleé, Zoe Terakes, Regan Aliyah as Zelma Stanton, Shakira Barrera, and Sonia Denis.

The series follows fifteen-year-old super-genius Riri Williams builds her own suit of advanced armor and leads a life of adventure, crime-fighting, and humanitarianism as the Super Hero known as Ironheart.
‘Ironheart’ is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on September 3, 2025.

The first three episodes of ‘Ironheart’ will be directed by Sam Bailey.
