At the premiere, Ortega turned heads in Valentino SS24, while the complete cast of ‘Miller’s Girl’ was presented.
Recently, the first trailer for the film was unveiled, featuring Ortega as Cairo Sweet and Martin Freeman as Jonathan Miller.
According to Lionsgate’s official description of the film, “A talented young writer, Cairo Sweet (Ortega), embarks on a creative odyssey when her teacher, Jonathan Miller (Freeman), assigns a project that entangles them both in an increasingly complex web. As lines blur and their lives intertwine, professor and protégé must comfort their darkest selves while straining to preserve their individual sense of purpose and the things they hold most dear.”
Jade Halley Bartlett wrote and directed the film. The cast also includes Gideon Adlon, Bashir Salahuddin, Dagmara Domińczyk, and Christine Adams.
Produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Josh Fagen, and Mary-Margaret Kunze, the film is distributed by Lionsgate Films and falls under the production company Point Grey Pictures.
‘Miller’s Girl’ will hit theaters on January 26, 2024, by Lionsgate.
