Joe Jonas Revealed He Auditioned For The Amazing Spider-Man

Joe Jonas revealed that he tried out for The Amazing Spider-Man but lost to Andrew Garfield. Joe Jonas is a member of the pop rock band the Jonas Brothers, alongside his brothers Kevin and Nick.

During the “Just for Variety” podcast, Jonas told about his Spider-Man audition back in 2011. He remembers the process of the audition. Jonas says, “I was up for Spider-Man and I was so, so excited, and it was the year Andrew Garfield got it,” he added. “Obviously, he was the right one, but I remember that was a big thing at the time, going back for callbacks, and the director used to be a music video director. So I was like, “I got in here.” But you know what? I love the process of auditioning and putting yourself out there and having to prove yourself.”

When asked if he had the opportunity to wear the Spider-Man suit, Jonas replied, “No, but I’m sure I had one that I would try on occasionally back in the day.”

What If Joe Jonas Was Cast As Spider-Man?

Joe Jonas may not be as good as Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man. Jonas has the perfect look for the Spider-Man character, but he is not flexible enough. Garfield had good skills, and he is flexible to play Spider-Man.
