Jonah Hauer-King, Ruby Cruz, and Zoey Deutch replace Logan Lerman and Phoebe Dynevor in Chad Hartigan‘s rom-com ‘The Threesome,’ which follows Connor, a young man whose long-time crush leads him into an unexpected threesome. He thinks it’s his ultimate dream come true, but when the fantasy ends, all three are left with surprising and life-changing consequences forcing them to take responsibility for their actions.
‘The Threesome’ is a laugh-out-loud, high-concept, character-driven comedy along the lines of Knocked Up, which explores the aftermath of one impulsive, seemingly innocuous decision. Balanced with its charm and wit is a deeply felt, hopeful consideration of relationships and love in all its forms.
Directed by Hartigan from a screenplay by Ethan Ogilby and produced by Star Thrower, the company behind ‘King Richard.’
Filming for ‘The Threesome’ began in Little Rock on January 10 and is scheduled to continue until February 11.
Plot Details:
“When Connor’s (Hauer-King) perennial crush Olivia (Cruz) leads him into an unexpected threesome, he thinks it is his ultimate dream come true. Hauer-King, known for playing Prince Eric in ‘The Little Mermaid,’ is on IMDb’s “Top Stars of 2023” list.
Cruz, Disney’s first openly queer princess in ‘Willow’ and ‘Mare of Easttown,’ is part of the cast.
