Jonathan Majors is getting more trouble day by day following his May 8 court appearance on domestic violence allegations. According to Variety, multiple women came forward and claimed to be Jonathan Majors’ alleged abuse victims. They have come forward since his arrest in March and are cooperating with the Manhattan district attorney’s office.
As per Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry, “Jonathan Majors is innocent and has not abused anyone. We have provided irrefutable evidence to the district attorney that the charges are false. We are confident that he will be fully exonerated.” Chaudhry also added, there is evidence left which “includes video footage from the vehicle where this episode took place, witness testimony from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode, and most importantly, two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations.”
Majors was reportedly arrested in New York in March on charges of strangulation, assault, and harassment this weekend. His representative claims that “he’s done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.” As per Deadline, in April, Majors was reportedly dropped by his public relations firm, the Lede Company, as well as his management company, Entertainment 360.
Jonathan Majors Has Lost Multiple Projects
According to reports, Majors has lost some of the major projects since the allegations appeared. He will no longer star in the film adaptation of the Walter Mosley novel The Man in My Basement and an unannounced Fifth Season’s Otis Redding biopic, Otis and Zelma. By the way, Majors is under contract with the MCU. As per a source, there have been “zero conversations in the Marvel camp about dropping Majors” from the Marvel franchise yet.
In 2023, Jonathan Majors had two major releases: Creed III and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Both films are now available on VOD.
