Josh Keaton, known for his role as The Spectacular Spider-Man in the animated show, has teased that he will be voicing a mystery character in ‘Invincible‘ Season 2 – Part 2.
According to reports, it’s confirmed that Keaton will reprise his role as Spider-Man in the second half of ‘Invincible’ Season 2.
Invincible Season 2 follows after an earth-shattering betrayal. Mark tries to get his life back on track as he makes new adversaries and allies, all while trying to suppress his greatest fear: that he may become his father.
The show stars Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson/Invincible, Sandra Oh as Deborah Grayson, J.K. Simmons as Nolan/Omni-Man, Gillian Jacobs as Samantha Eve Wilkins/Atom Eve, Andrew Rannells as William Clockwell, Zazie Beetz as Amber Bennett, Walton Goggins as Cecil Stedman, Jason Mantzoukas as Rex Sloan/Rex Splode, Khary Payton as Markus Grimshaw/Black Samson and various others, Zachary Quinto as Rudy Conners/Robot, Seth Rogen as Allen the Alien, Ross Marquand as The Immortal and various others, Malese Jow as Kate Cha/Dupli-Kate, and Mark Hamill as Art Rosenbaum.
The first four episodes of Invincible’s second season premiered from November 3 to November 24, 2023, with the remaining four episodes scheduled to air from March 14 to April 2, 2024, on Amazon Prime Video.
According to the show’s creator, Robert Kirkman, the goal is to have one season of ‘Invincible’ per year. “I can’t guarantee that we’ll hit that.”
In an interview with Collider, Kirkman said, “I think that that would be the goal. I’ve said publicly, that the gap between Season 1 and Season 2 are the longest gap we’ll ever have. I’ve seen people say, ‘Oh, it’s gonna be three years for every season. This isn’t gonna work.’ But we don’t know, it’s a very hard production schedule, and it’s a very tough show to produce. So, the goal is to try and get it as close to a season a year as we possibly can. I can’t guarantee that we’ll hit that. But it’s a weird time for television. Like, name one show that comes out consistently every year because it’s like Stranger Things, House of the Dragon. I know that the pandemic delayed things a lot. But it seems like it’s harder and harder to get shows to come out every year.”
