The images show O’Connor and Close wearing black costumes, which appear to be for a funeral scene. Additionally, there is an image showing Daniel Craig, who plays Benoit Blanc, alongside O’Connor, and Mila Kunis on the set. You can see it below.
Rian Johnson, who directed the first two films, will return to direct Wake Up Dead Man. In the announcement statement, Johnson said, “I love everything about whodunnits, but one of the things I love most is how malleable the genre is. There’s a whole tonal spectrum from Carr to Christie, and getting to explore that range is one of the most exciting things about making Benoit Blanc movies.” Johnson added, “We’re about to go into production on the third one, and I’m very, very excited to share the title, which gives a little hint of where it’s going.”
‘Wake Up Dead Man’ is the third installment in the Knives Out film series, following ‘Knives Out’ (2019) and ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’ (2022). As usual, the film features a huge star-studded cast and will be another mystery-solving story for Benoit Blanc.
The film stars Craig, O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny, Kunis, Josh Brolin, Close, Andrew Scott, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.
Produced by Johnson and his partner, Ram Bergman, through T-Street Pictures and will be distributed by Netflix.
‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery’ will premiere on Netflix in 2025.
