Marvel Studios recently revealed the first teaser for ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries,’ starring Kathryn Hahn. The genres of the series are adventure, action, comedy, and superhero.

In an interview with Collider, Hahn expresses her desire to work with ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries,’ creator Jac Schaeffer for life, praising her extraordinary talent and unique voice. She says she would work with Schaeffer for the rest of her life.
Hahn said, “Kind of like this experimental theater troupe or the wicked stepsisters. It feels like we’re getting away with murder with what we’re able to do. It really feels thrilling, and I’m just so grateful to Kevin [Feige] for letting us do our thing and letting Jac do her thing, which is just extraordinary. I would work with Jac Schaeffer for the rest of my life. I just love her voice.”

Hahn shares her excitement about ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries,’ stating, “I can’t say anything, but I’m so excited! You know, it’s interesting you say that because my whole experience with Marvel, starting with WandaVision and then Agatha—everyone talks about the machine of Marvel, but I’ve really felt like I’ve been in this amazing splinter circus that has felt so trusted and so off to the side.”
‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’ is a Disney+ show created by Jac Schaeffer. It is based on the Marvel Comics character Agatha Harkness and serves as a spin-off from the series WandaVision.
In the first episode of ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries,’ Agatha, still under the influence of the Scarlet Witch‘s spell, assumes the identity of “Detective Agnes (Kathryn Hahn)” to investigate a murder case. The victim’s toe tag initially reads Wanda Maximoff, a clue that Agnes is attempting to break free from the spell. All the while, her ex, Rio Vidal (Aubrey Plaza), provides a subtle push in her journey to reclaim her true self.
The show also stars Joe Locke as Wiccan, Ali Ahn as Alice, Sasheer Zamata as Jennifer Kale, Plaza as Rio Vidal, and Patti LuPone as Lilia Calderu.
The show focuses on the character Agatha Harkness (Hahn). Harkness is a witch from Salem, Massachusetts, who acquires dark magic from her own coven during the Salem witch trials. After 300 years, she came to know the chaos magic radiating from the Westview Anomaly created by Wanda Maximoff. According to the Illuminerdi, Agatha: Coven of Chaos will pick up where WandaVision leaves off in Westview. Agatha will be freed from Wanda’s spell by a new coven of witches. See the set images. The filming for ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’ has wrapped after six months of a busy schedule.
‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’ will premiere on Disney+ on September 19, 2024. It will consist of 9 episodes, with each episode having a runtime of 30 minutes.
