A leaked fight clip from Marvel’s ‘Echo‘ series, featuring Charlie Cox‘s Daredevil and Alaqua Cox‘s Maya Lopez, was revealed by Twitter user @CracksWynonna. The scene was obtained from the locked Disney+ database.
Echo features flashbacks revealing how she lost her mother, her leg, and her father’s link to Kingpin. The series explores Echo and Daredevil’s past as enemies during her time working for Fisk. Watch the clip below.
The first episode will be directed by Sydney Freeland and the rest will be directed by Catriona McKenzie. Marion Dayre serves as the head writer. The show also stars D’Onofrio as Kingpin, Cox as Daredevil, Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez, Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning, and Graham Greene.
Plot, “Echo’s gripping journey unfolds through poignant flashbacks in the series, unveiling a tragic car accident, the loss of her mother, and the loss of her leg. Her father’s ties to Kingpin and Echo’s training as an enforcer are revealed. Her history with Daredevil from her days under Kingpin’s influence is also explored.”
Marvel recently revealed the first trailer for ‘Echo,’ starring Cox as Maya Lopez. The ‘Echo’ series mainly focuses on Maya’s life, her family, and her history. Cox’s Daredevil will have a cameo appearance, and Vincent D’Onofrio‘s Wilson Fisk has a big role. Disney+ confirmed that Echo follows the events of Hawkeye (2021) in New York City, Maya Lopez returns to her hometown, where she must come to terms with her past, reconnect with her Native American roots, and embrace her family and community.
With five episodes, ‘Echo’ is scheduled to premiere on January 10, 2023. You can watch it on Disney+ and Hulu.
