Logan Kim (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire) was originally cast in Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World, appearing in the post-credits scene, but Marvel Studios ultimately decided to remove his scenes.
According to an insider report from Daniel Richtman, “Per test screenings, Logan Kim was cast in Captain America: Brave New World as Amadeus Cho and had a scene with Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie).”
“The post-credits scene originally featured Sam and the Leader discussing how the Leader (Tim Blake Nelson) turned Cho into a Hulk. I wonder if Kim is still going to play the role now.”

Amadeus Cho’s planned transformation into a Hulk would have continued Marvel’s steady expansion of the Hulk corner of the MCU. After She-Hulk: Attorney at Law introduced Jennifer Walters and Skaar and reintroduced the Abomination, Captain America: Brave New World further expanded that roster with the Leader and Red Hulk, which planned a future Hulk-centric storyline in the MCU.
Captain America: Brave New World reportedly went through major changes during reshoots that altered the original story. The Serpent Society was completely removed from the final cut, while the Leader’s comic-accurate design was abandoned. Red Hulk was also originally planned to go on the run, but that storyline was ultimately cut during reshoots.
Mark Ruffalo is confirmed to appear as Hulk in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. In a recent interview, Ruffalo opened up about a potential solo Hulk movie.
Ruffalo said, “I’d love to have a solo Hulk movie.” He added, “I don’t know if you know the story of that, but it’s not really owned by Marvel; it’s a Universal property. I don’t know if it’ll ever really come to be, honestly.”
“We keep talking about it, what it would be,” the actor added. “There have been so many Hulk movies already—it’s like, does anyone really want another one?”
Captain America: Brave New World is now streaming on Disney+.
