Loki Season 2 Will Not Premiere In Spring 2023
Loki season 2 is set to premiere in early 2024. It was previously reported that season 2 would be released this fall, but changes were made. According to a source, the show is currently listed as TBA on the Disney+ schedule. As per the source, we can confirm the show will be aired on Disney+ on October 6, 2023.
Why Was Loki Season 2’s Release Date Delayed to 2024?
Loki season 2 is not currently scheduled for release until 2023. The filming began in June 2022 and concluded in October 2022. The upcoming shows listed to premiere on Disney+ in 2023 are Secret Invasion on June 21, 2023, and Echo.
In an interview with ET Online, Owen Wilson shared his experience working with the cast and crew of Loki season 2 last summer. He said, “I think his character that he plays in Loki season two — I think people will be excited, even though that was so great, obviously, the character that he won an Oscar, for I think people are going to love his character in this.”
A post-credit scene of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania contains a scene from Loki season 2, which shows Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Mobius (Owen Wilson) watching a presentation in the 1900s from the eccentric inventor Victor Timely (Jonathan Majors).
Season 2 is produced by Marvel Studios, with Eric Martin serving as head writer and Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead leading the directing team. The series stars Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Owen Wilson as Agent Mobius M. Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Judge Ravonna Renslayer, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie / The Variant, Eugene Cordero as Casey / Hunter K-5E, Ke Huy Quan as a Time Variance Authority archivist, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, and Jonathan Majors (Victor Timely).
Loki season 2 consists of six episodes and is set to premiere on Disney+ on October 6, 2023.
