Markiplier, the content creator and entrepreneur, has revealed the first teaser trailer for a new horror film, ‘Iron Lung‘, which he stars in and directs from his own script. As per the Deadline, The production is currently happening in Austin, Texas. Watch the trailer below.
Iron Lung is based on David Szymanski‘s bestselling 2022 submarine horror game of the same name. Will Hyde and Jeff Guerrero will also join Markiplier as producers on the project.
Mark Edward Fischbach, a.k.a. Markiplier is a YouTuber, gamer, and social media personality. He is known for his Let’s Play videos, where he plays and provides commentary on video games, as well as his comedic sketches, vlogs, and charity live streams. Markiplier has a large following on YouTube, with millions of subscribers and billions of views on his videos.
On Twitter, David Szymanski wrote, “So yes, tl;dr the reason I’ve been so busy lately is because I’ve been heavily involved with the production of the Iron Lung movie, from assisting with the script and pre-production to now being on set for the shoot and even having a small cameo in the film!” He added, “I couldn’t be happier with how it’s turning out so far. This is going to be something very special, and very wild.”
