Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World is now running in theaters. At this time, a technical crew member who worked on the film claims, “Everyone on the crew knew this was probably not going to be a good film.” The film has undergone many reshoots, and even though they cut 70% of the movie and remade it, they still couldn’t save it.
In an interview with Vulture, a crew member who worked on the reshoots said they believed the film was not going to be good. Some action sequences were not believable, and there were many frustrations on set.

After filming wrapped, major story changes were made, including the introduction of the leader of the Serpent Society. The decision to include or remove the character kept changing, which significantly increased the budget. Other crew members who worked on the film longer described the production as very rough.
The crew member said, “I worked on the reshoots. I think everyone on the crew knew this was probably not going to be a good film. Some of the action sequences were not believable. We had a lot of frustrations on set. After principal photography was finished, it was like, ‘Oh, we’re going to introduce the leader of the Serpent Society.’ It was on, then it was off, then it was on again. That’s very expensive to do. My co-workers, who spent more time on Brave New World than I did, said, ‘Yeah, this has been a really rough production.'”

The crew member said that Harrison Ford was one of the crankiest actors they had worked with, which was disappointing because they were a fan. They felt he acted like a diva on set. Due to a past plane crash, he couldn’t lift his left arm above his chest. The crew had to put motion-capture dots on him, but he seemed to hate it and didn’t want to do it. Once Ford finished his work, he didn’t want to do anything more. The team tried hard to keep him happy, which made the work environment awkward. However, a source close to the production stated that there is “no truth” to the claims that Ford’s behavior was unusually difficult.
Directed by Julius Onah from a screenplay by Malcolm Spellman, Dalan Musson, and Matthew Orton. The film stars Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Danny Danny Ramirez as Joaquín Torres/Falcon, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Ford as President Thaddeus Ross, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph/Sabra, Giancarlo Esposito as Sidewinder, Rosa Salazar, and Xosha Roquemore.
