Marvel Studios has planned a strong group of villains for the new X-Men movie.
According to insider Alex Perez (via Cosmic Circus), Marvel Studios is reportedly planning to use Mr. Sinister, Essex, Senator Kelly, and Bolivar Trask as the main antagonists in the X-Men movie.

As previously reported, FOX’s original X-Men cast members—Professor X, Magneto, Cyclops, Mystique, Nightcrawler, Beast, and Gambit—are set to return in the upcoming Avengers films. While other characters like Storm, Jean Grey, and Wolverine have not been officially confirmed yet, Alex has confirmed that characters like them will appear in the movie.
Alex confirmed that Marvel’s darker and supernatural projects are set to be part of the next saga, possibly including Ghost Rider, Blade, and others.
Recently, THR reported that Marvel is looking for a director for the X-Men movie, and the studio is currently in discussions with Jake Schreier, the director of Thunderbolts* (The New Avengers). Michael Lesslie (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) is writing the script. Filming is expected to begin after Avengers: Secret Wars.

During the Disney APAC Content Showcase, Marvel President Kevin Feige spoke about the future of the X-Men, calling their return to Marvel Studios “a dream come true.”
Feige said, “I think you will see that continue in our next few movies with some X-Men players that you might recognize.” He added, “Right after that, the whole story of Secret Wars really leads us into a new age of mutants and of the X-Men. Again, [it’s] one of those dreams come true. We finally have the X-Men back.”
The Russo Brothers have reportedly signed a new deal with Marvel Studios to oversee additional projects for the next saga, including the X-Men reboot movie.
The release date for X-Men has not yet been announced.
