Spoilers ahead for Avengers: Doomsday.
Marvel Studios has reportedly made several cuts of the Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer and is deciding which one to release.
According to Kristian Harloff (via YouTube), there are multiple versions of the Avengers: Doomsday trailer, and the studio is currently deciding which one to release online in December 2025. It will also be attached to Avatar: Fire and Ash. In one version, Peggy Carter and Steve Rogers appear, but they are not in costume.
It is also reported that Cyclops will receive a major focus, along with the Summers family, meaning Wolverine won’t be a central character. Also, Doomsday will reportedly be Patrick Stewart’s final acting role, not only as Professor X but in his career overall.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film features cinematography by Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and production design by Kasra Farahani.
A new rumor states that a person who saw the Avengers: Doomsday trailer was reportedly surprised by the number of scenes featuring Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom in action. Downey Jr.’s Doom is described as a classic movie monster, compared to The Phantom of the Opera — a tragic, tormented, and broken figure. It is said that Doctor Doom needs his armor to survive because his body is completely shattered.
