(FYI: This post contains potential spoilers for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday.)
A new concept art from Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday reveals Doctor Doom at Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter’s home, with the tagline: “The Final Battle for Existence Begins.”
In the image, Doctor Doom is seen wearing his iconic green cloak, standing in front of Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter’s house, as indicated by the Captain America shield on the front porch.

Recently, scooper MyTimeToShineHello posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Steve going back in time to be with Peggy created the incursions that killed Doctor Doom’s family. Now Doom is hunting Steve to kill him for what he did, manipulating everyone in his path to achieve it.”
During the filming of Avengers: Doomsday in Windsor Great Park, leaked set images revealed the Russo brothers directing scenes featuring Chris Evans‘ Steve Rogers and Hayley Atwell‘s Peggy Carter, who have children in the movie.
Also, insider Daniel Richtman confirmed that “Tom Hiddleston‘s Loki filmed a scene in Steve and Peggy’s home, where he has a conversation with them.”
“Steve Rogers going back in time at the end of Avengers: Endgame to live happily with Peggy Carter is set to be a major plot point in Avengers: Doomsday, as his actions created incursions in the multiverse. Steve not only chose to stay in the past with Carter, but he also began altering events. Therefore, for the multiverse to survive, Steve must die.“
In a recent interview with THE RIVER, Simu Liu said everyone will be “blown away” by Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsday.

Liu said, “[Robert Downey Jr.] has been an integral part of Marvel’s success and has appeared in so many films over the years, yet he still takes the time to meet and connect with so many people. He’s such a kind, generous, and inspiring person.”
Liu also added, “Because he’s played such a diverse range of roles, I think everyone will be blown away by the way he tackles this new character (Doctor Doom) in this film.”
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely, Avengers: Doomsday is now being co-written by McFeely and Michael Waldron, the creator and head writer of the Loki series.
