A new HD look at Robert Downey Jr.‘s Doctor Doom armor from Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday has been revealed.
In the image, you can see a detailed look at Doom’s armor, featuring his iconic green hood and metallic suit. The two cape pins resemble Mjölnir, Thor’s hammer, and the Hala star from Captain Marvel’s suit. This same image was shown by Marvel at the 2026 Disney Merchandise Expo in China.
You can also see Shang-Chi’s Ten Rings and Kamala Khan’s bangles. The Rings provide him with unlimited energy, while the bangle serves as a channel to stabilize it within his suit. With them, he can absorb powers from Nexus beings to shape the multiverse in his own way.
There is a theory that in Avengers: Doomsday, Doctor Doom may need one artifact to keep himself alive and another to enhance his scientific and magical abilities. These artifacts would function similarly to how the arc reactor did for Iron Man.
The film is directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film features cinematography by Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and production design by Kasra Farahani.

“Doctor Doom has officially arrived on the Marvel Cinematic Universe stage. This villain, a master of cutting-edge science and powerful magic, will unleash a cascading crisis across the multiverse. Marvel’s most iconic actor, Robert Downey Jr., also returns as Doctor Doom!”
