Following the recent wrap of Marvel’s ‘Thunderbolts*,’ Marvel screened a new behind-the-scenes video from the film’s set featuring Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan for attendees at the 2024 CineEurope Disney presentation.
The behind-the-scenes footage shows Pugh and Stan as Yelena Belova and Winter Soldier, respectively, during the shooting of ‘Thunderbolts’ in Atlanta.
According to Variety, Marvel Studios has shown a new clip for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’. Here’s the description:
Ryan Reynold’s Wade Wilson is seen living a humdrum, quiet life among his friends, including fan favorite Peter, with Rob Delaney reprising his role from the second movie. Adding some firepower to the presentation, Reynolds—in full Deadpool garb—sent a special message to the CineEurope audience (he introduced Chamber as “Tony Bloody Chambers”), while original costumes from the film were shown outside the auditorium, where Reynold’s own Aviation Gin was served (with posters saying “Welcome to the Deadpool Ginematic Universe.”
‘Thunderbolts’ is directed by Jake Schreier and stars Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Pugh as Yelena Belova, Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent, Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost, Louis-Dreyfus as Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Harrison Ford as President Thaddeus Ross, Pullman as Sentry, and Geraldine Viswanathan as Erin. Laurence Fishburne and Rachel Weisz are confirmed to reprise their roles as scientist Bill Foster and spy Melina Vostakov.
According to the film’s plot, “Yelena Belova (Pugh), US Agent (Wyatt Russell), Ghost (Ava Starr), and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) are sent by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Louis-Dreyfus) to kill Sentry (Lewis Pullman) in a vault. They realize they’ve been set up and were meant to die on this mission. So, they team up against their boss—to take her down.”
‘Thunderbolts’ will hit theaters on May 2, 2025, in IMAX, RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, Cinemark XD, and premium screens worldwide.
