A new special look at Marvel’s Thunderbolts*, featuring a 3-minute trailer, was revealed during Disney’s D23 event in Brazil. Following that, the first test screening took place, and we received exclusive reactions and insights from insiders.
According to reports, test screenings of Thunderbolts* have been very positive. The film features a “tone similar to Captain America: The Winter Soldier, with good action scenes that stand out.”
The film begins with Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) on a mission, and she is reportedly the main character. There are scenes set in the Red Room. Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) has one of the best action sequences in the film.
How is Sentry portrayed in Thunderbolts*?
Bob Reynolds a.k.a. Sentry (Lewis Pullman) wears a comic-accurate suit, but with some differences. In the film, Sentry becomes The Void in the third act.
Directed by Jake Schreier and stars Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Pugh as Yelena Belova, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent, Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Ford as President Thaddeus Ross, Pullman as Sentry, and Geraldine Viswanathan as Erin. Laurence Fishburne and Rachel Weisz are confirmed to reprise their roles as scientist Bill Foster and spy Melina Vostakov.
