Michael Keaton‘s Vulture, who was last seen in the mid-credits scenes of Sony’s ‘Morbius,’ will return in the MCU’s ‘Spider-Man 4‘ with Tom Holland. He has unfinished business with Holland’s Spider-Man.
In ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming,’ Keaton’s character, Adrian Toomes, becomes the Vulture, a high-tech villain. He gets defeated by Spider-Man and is taken into custody by the authorities. Later, in the movie ‘Morbius,’ during two mid-credits scenes, Toomes finds himself transported to a different universe and approaches Michael Morbius (Jared Leto). He believes Spider-Man might be responsible and suggests they should team up.
When Will MCU’s ‘Spider-Man 4’ Begins Production?
‘Spider-Man 4’ will start production in late 2024, with Holland, Zendaya, and director Jon Watts set to return, while Jacob Batalon’s Ned Leeds won’t be back.
The script for ‘Spider-Man 4’ is penned by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, known for their work on previous MCU Spider-Man films, and was completed before the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
Recently, Holland confirmed that the ‘Spider-Man 4’ script is looking good so far, but further details will soon be revealed. Will Miles Morales join Holland’s ‘Spider-Man 4’? Holland said, It’s hard to say, but Holland teased “some stuff going on” in the untitled Spider-Man 4 that he’s “excited about.” “Whether or not it’ll come to fruition, who knows?” Holland added, “But right now it’s looking pretty good, and we’ll just have to wait and see.”
‘Spider-Man 4’ is expected to hit theaters in late 2025.
